As a Pittsburgh native Shannon started his career as a United States Marine Corp as a machinist. While attending Clarion University he built decks alongside experienced contractors for 84 Lumber in Falls Creek, PA. He transitioned to the utility industry and started building decks for Pittsburgh homeowners. After years working with Nelson, they established Build with MD to focus on serving homeowners to make their vision a reality.
Nelson Miller, Owner
Nelson comes from humble beginnings in North Carolina with a childhood spent learning from his grandaddy. As a young carpenter he learned many different skills within the trade, especially during his years spent as a union carpenter. Nelson brings his southern hospitality, honesty, and experience to each and every client.
